I love Volkswagons! I was so close to buying my green Beetle last summer. What stopped me? Repairs would have taken me too far outta the way and would have been a hassle. Maybe someday... But, until that day I can live through stamps! Until I got a peek into my friends Linda & Pauline's Bella binders, I had no idea that Stamping Bella was about more than just that classy Bella herself. I love quirky, funky & fun stuff and when I saw this Peace VW stamp in Linda's binder, I had to stamp it out.
My dad 's birthday is this friday and this is not the normal card I have given him in the past. I wanted something a little different this year! I added 'DAD' in the liscense plate and threw in the tire treads. These colors have been on my radar for sometime now and I think they are pretty dang cheery for this time of the year. I have one more VW van stamped out and I want to make it in some much more wilder colors, I just knew he might no appreciate that as much as I do!
Hey, did ya check out da Bella's blog and see what the next challenge is for this friday?? The inspiration piece is from where I would love to have my whole house furnished by..Crate & Barrel. I can NOT wait to see what inspired everyone from this photo...
p.s. George Clooney is filming in the Detroit area, if I never post again it's because I have run away with him. {or he has had me arrested! lol}

Now that is the best suggestion I've heard here in the UK they showed him this morning after his meeting with Obama WOW is all that I can say so don't blame you for wishing to run off with him.
Love your blog by the way your colouring holds me in awe and I wish I could achieve a fraction of the skill you have .. its very inspiring and just love your cards.

Hey Paula, how cool to see your VW green bug comment and your awesome card. It is well known around here that my fun retirement car needs to be a pretty pink bug with a cream convertible top and a licence plate that reads LADYSBUG. I live with 3 men. 1 DH and two dear sons (do you think they'll be begging me for my keys!!!)
