Good Morning Bella-RIFFIC friday lovers!!!
Yeah, that's you & I ! The challenge for today was posted a little bit later than usual because that Bella & Nicky in 'Bellaland' are some popular gals. If I lived closer to Toronto I would be there all the time too, until they threw me out for loitering! lol Pink & brown...one of my FAV combos ever...really, brown and anything is right up this sistahs alley.
This is the photo we were provided and I knew exactly what I was gonna do.
Remember back in Feb. our receptionist at Flushmate was pregnant and we had a lil after work shower. Well, that pretty little Sydnee is here and she is beau-T-full! Healthy and with a head full o' dark hair. We get pics at work from the new momma Jessica and she just happens to also be a fan of...you guessed it...PINK & BROWN!
I had the perfect Bella image that I borrowed from fellow BABE LindaBella last weekend. {BTW, this is on my next order from Stamping Bella, but until then I had one to tide me over.}
Meet Alex, Jessica & lil Sydneebella! Really, this stamp is babyfellabella and I am in love again. I pulled out my Lyra colored pencils, gamsol and blender stumps and went to town. I did use my Copics for the flestones. {{ I use E0000, E000 , E00 & R20}} I had just picked up the sentiment 'congrats on your little one' while at ScrapFest last weekend so I was pretty excited. {{yes, little things like that excite me, LOL}} I used my nesties and cuttlebug folder with the swiss dots to complete the card. Is it just me...swiss dots just feel like baby anything. The patterned paper is from American Crafts and it added a some sophistication to the baby theme, but it didn't overpower the look. Now, can we talk glitter! I had to add glitter and I added it to the paper, it didn't come that way. I had to put some sparkle on somewhere!!

Beautiful card - you put a lot of work into adding the glitter - your colouring is superb. I do not have any Copics but am wondering if I should be getting some. Your creativity is astounding. Love your work!

hey! hello from Nashville! our hotel is directly across the street from Grand Ole Opry but we will be zooming right past there to get to Vanderbilt Stadium! No Country Opry for these Dave fans...just wanted to say that your card is fab, but you already know that...so more importantly....make sure you use your copic FIRST, then use your pencils, because the wax from the pencils could gum up the tip on your copic!...always here to help!!!! oh ya....love how you even got nice subtle cheeks on the fella...must give that a try!
