So the weather is perfect and here I am thinking summer is half over! It is mid-July and my husband is off at work getting ready for Back-To-School for weeks now! {Office Max} Last night I was working on a few projects and I have gottena few cards made. Tonight I need to get down to business with my KETTO card class at Scrappin' & Stampin' for this friday.
I rarely do any type of 'male' card unless asked, but I thought this SirFelix KETTO from Stamping Bella, looked like something for a little boy! And...while I was thinking it looked like something for a little boy, I pulled out some paper that had stars and made a big star that went off the card. {something I also rarely do, LOL} It all came together fairly easy, I just was stumped on a sentiment...thus, it is naked. I think I will get the "for a special boy' sentiment back out and use that again.
My card is a 4x4, not a size I generally go with either, it musta been a full moon last night? all these new things! I remember Emily writing that she had been addicted to the 4x4 size, so I had to try it myself...monkey see, monkey do... The paper is from My Minds Eye, but it is one of their lines that show up in the turning racks at the scrapbook stores..with all the little extras you can buy. I did add a touch of glitter to his crown and his star wand. The silver brad is from SU...not used one of those since I bought them...bad hoarder.
He has been stamped out for a long time, but I want to tell you, that from now on, all my Bella cards are gonna be on the Bella paper that Emily is carrying in the store. I had not know about this until I went to Toronto. It is amazing with my pencils and gamsol and I hear it is a fav with the copics...I will let you know about that some other time! hehe Emily kindly sent me the link so that you can find it and try it out yourselves. Then...I almost forgot..Joanneabella has supplied this weeks sketch for BellaRIFFIC friday. It is very different for me and I can't wait to try it out!! Thanks Joanne! You try it out too,
We keep getting new faces in the sistahood gallery and you need to join. Send it to Emily with the date in the subjectline by thursday night. {me thinks she secretly LOVES to upload everything} Yee Haw, see ya real soon!
