Tis the season for sick family and friends. fa la la la la
Me, I use my trusty neti pot, as disgusting as it may sound to those who have NOT discovered this treasure. I washed my hands like a maniac last year and I stayed without a cold. haha, Linda even got to see me in action friday night in the hotel room, I took my little pot to Toronto, hey...she wanted to watch.
I know my mom is gonna want this card as soon as she see's it in a month. If someone doesn't get sick in the meantime, I will probably have to *cough* it up, get it? lol
I am not putting anything on the outside, sentiment wise and will add something to the inside. This is one of Anna Wight's chickens and I LOVED it when I spotted it. I used some new October Afternoon paper for my color inspiration and looking at it now...looks like I went a little dotty on here, huh! I even added those dots to the chicken.
Well, here is hoping that you are feeling great and no sick chickens in your future...me, I will keep washing my hands and rinsing my nose out! grossss!

Very cute Chicken Paula! I love it! I had to laugh when I read about your neti pot. We had some friends come visit from out of state this summer and she had a sinus infection and brought her neti pot with her. We didn't see it in action, but my hubby loved giving her a bad time about it. I'll have to tell him I found someone else that uses one. Take care!

Paula - you are so awesome! I love checking out your blog. Your colouring talents are very. very impressive. I noticed that you often hand print sentiments on your cards. The look is spectacular, to say the least. You should consider teaming up with a stamp company to design your own line of stamp sentiments!!! You rock!

Hi Paula
I dug out my lantern that I bought last year and want to try to color it the way you did back in December of 2008. I hope you don't mind.
I have admired this card for a whole year now and hopefully will get something done.
Love your work - you know that!!
