It's my birthday and I'll work if I want too...work if I want too, wooooork if I want too...you would work too if you got to leave at lunch & head to Niagra Falls. ok, so the song doesn't quite work out as well in my version, but I am ok with that.
Today is #1. My birthday {a special day for my mom & dad to mark this happy occasion when I entered their lives} #2. It's friday the 13th. {but I was born on a Sunday so 13 is a nice number to me} #3. It's BellaRIFFIC friday and I can't wait to see what the sistahood has in store today! {I won't probably get to see the gallery until late friday night, hotel better have free wi-fi???}
I chose an image that I have had stamped on Bella's bestest paper and just waiting for a chance to get around to coloring. Do you have any idea how long it takes to prep for classes?? Man, I keep working well after I get home from the day job and until I go to bed. {tv has been somewhat on the backburner these last couple weeks} Love happens robots is a one of a kind image for
a one of a kind couple. I admit, I don't attend many weddings, but I know when you get into the stores looking at wedding cards, they are all pretty flowery and very traditional, very elegant. This is NOT elegant, it's fun & totally original! So, it's not that original because I was gonna just use the sentiment that comes with the image, it says 'love happens'. Then my pal, buddy, bff stampin' sistah fellow babe Linda sent me what she was submitting for the wild card theme this week. I LOVED it!!! The next morning I was up early and said I should add 'got love' to my card and told her whick image I was using. Linda thought it would be funny and I kept thinking about it at work...and thinking...would it mesh with my robots? long story short, here it is! LOL Linda gave her blessing and I am smitten with my card.
I started coloring this with the piece of patterned paper you see here as my inspiration. I bought it at Bella a month ago, it's called Sweet Shoppe by Collage Press. I really like the olive/pink combo. I used the Bo-Bunny double dots *sigh* paper and I bought the ribbon from Michael's just for this card. The sentiment is also a Linda thing...straight from the computer, when you don't have a sentiment in rubber form. {I don't think I ever printed on Bazzill's textured cs}
Well, that is all I have for you kids today. I have a nice long drive in front of me and a hubby who is NOT as chatty as I am. He has the honor of being my companion on this excursion, I will let you know if he was good and invited to go back with me..shhhh, let's keep this between you and me.
Tomorrow I will let ya know who wins my birthday blog candy!!!!! could be you!

Happy Birthday to YOU! That card is adorable, those robots are too cute. I hope you have a wonderful trip!
