So, how did you celebrate Jan. 1st, 2010? I colored and colored and colored and cleaned all my stumps and sharpened all my pencils. Well, there were a few that didn't need sharpening, but those stumps...they all needed a fresh tip put on them...all 40 of them {x2 because ya use each end!} Then I colored some more and made a couple cards.
I had a pile of images that I had not used before and this Spotty KETTO was one of them. I paired her with the dog bowl from the KETTO dog accessories. I did pick a different sentiment for my card, then the one that comes with the dog set.
So a few details on my card... I picked out some My Minds Eye polka dotted paper for my main paper and I found a piece of scrap aqua dotted paper as a little accent. {I save LOTS of scraps!} That little snippet of Shabby Green Door twine you see coming out of my button was bought on my last trip to Bella and I finally got it worked into a project! LOL I colored this with my prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol. It is stamped out on Bella's bestest paper with Versafine ink. That is my ink of choice for prismacolor pencils, but I need to stamp today using some Brilliance. {for copic use}
Today is another coloring day and I think I will have to leave the house! I have been inside since wednesday and I need a little retail therapy. Ok, we need a few groceries..haha But who knows where else I could end up at! See ya soon!!

I spent the 1st days of 2010 creating some DTwork. Made some cards and even managed a LO.
Love this card! It all looks so good together.
I don't own any Ketto's (yet!), but I really love them. They must be fun coloring!

Paula I spent my new years day the same way! I love the doggie he is so cute and the touch of glitter is a really great. I am going to stamp out a bunch of images today, pop in a movie and color away. I cleaned off my desk near the fire and in view of the tv for just that purpose.

I love this card - love the layout - love the colour combination you used - hmmmm just love everything about. Can you come over to my house and teach me how to make such beautiful cards. I don't live very far from Linda and Pauline. :)
